  • What does the summer immersive program tuition cover?
Tuition covers pretty much everything! Airport pickup, room and board on campus, additional off site meals, transportation to field visits, Launch Generation materials and swag, and ten jam packed days of life-altering experiences and learning. We recommend sending your teen with a bit of pocket money for any incidentals they may need.
  • Are scholarships available?
Launch Generation is delighted to offer a limited number of merit and need-based scholarships for students interested in attending our Launch Summer programs. The value of each award is between 15% and 30% of the applicable tuition fee. If you are a student or parent/guardian interested in applying for one of our scholarships, please email us at
  • How many participants are at each program?
We max each program at 25 participants to ensure a personal, unique, and impactful experience for each teen.
  • What are the sleeping arrangments for the overnight program?
Teens will stay in dorms, either single rooms, doubles, or triples. There will be separate male and female wings in the residence halls and Launch Generation staff will be staying in those wings as well.
  • What should my child bring to the overnight immersive program?
We will send a full list of what to bring upon registration, but key items include laptop, casual clothing, one business casual outfit, and one business formal outfit.
  • Who are the mentors?
We have a large network of advisors who are thrilled to act as mentors for the next generation. They include business owners, executives from various industries, venture capitalists, media specialists, and individuals successful in creating their own unique path. A final list and bios of the mentors will be finalized one month prior to each program to allow for scheduling of these busy but dedicated mentors.
  • Where are the site visits?
For our summer program, we choose innovative companies that will open up new ways of thinking about business and impact. Exact visits will be finalized in the months leading up to each program, but past programs run by the founders of Launch Generation have included Tesla, Google, GoPro, Sriracha, Red Bull and Planet Labs.
  • What are the hours of the program?
For our overnight programs, we have jam packed days. Sessions begin at 9am and the last sessions generally end at 9pm. For our virtual program, hours will vary. Please check out the virtual brochure and agenda for more information.
  • Will there be downtime?
For our overnight program we will have 2 hours of free time each afternoon before dinner, but there will be optional activities for those wishing to stay busy. Optional activities will include yoga, meditation, soccer, kickball, basketball, workouts, swimming, and workshops such as college essay prep along with other workshop options that will be finalized a few weeks prior to program start date.
  • What are the qualifications of staff and mentors?
We vet and select a diverse staff for each program to act as role models, catalysts, and educators. We employ an eclectic mix of professionals, entrepreneurs, and creatives of all ages and walks of life to inspire and collaborate with this next generation of leaders. We believe in the power of multi-generational collaboration, and strive to employ staff who are in their first decade of their career, to recently retired professionals. All staff members pass a background check and submit numerous references.
  • What happens in the case of illness or injury?
We train our staff to handle situations of injury or illness. All staff members are familiar with the closest hospital and urgent care center, and family will be notified immediately of any hospitalization or medical care given.
  • What is the procedure should my child need to take prescribed medication during the overnight program program?
All medication should be listed on the final forms brought by each participant and signed by their parents/guardians. All medication will be handed over to the program director upon check-in. The program director will be in charge of holding all prescription medication and handing it out at the appropriate times.
  • What is your COVID-19 policy?
